I’m grateful to have attended the Keep the Midlands Beautiful Awards Luncheon this past week and to continue supporting their efforts to keep our communities clean, beautiful, and thriving!

A special thank-you to Traude Sander, Executive Director of Keep the Midlands Beautiful (KMB), her staff, and board members for all their hard work in providing resources and opportunities for organizations, community groups, and residents to organize litter cleanups, increase recycling, and enhance beautification throughout our communities.

Through my partnership with KMB and the litter cleanups I’ve organized, we’ve removed more than 1,200 pounds of litter from District 2 and the City of Cayce! I’m incredibly grateful to KMB and every resident who has volunteered their time and energy to make a difference. This progress wouldn’t be possible without you!

KMB has also helped bring a free mural to One Love Convenience Store in District 2, adding another meaningful touch of art and beautification to Cayce!

Litter anywhere in our community is a reflection of all of us, and keeping our neighborhoods clean is a shared responsibility.

As a young dad, I want to help ensure that our children grow up in a clean and beautiful environment where they can thrive and enjoy a great quality of life. That starts with each of us doing our part.

Thank you again to Keep the Midlands Beautiful and everyone working to make a difference in our communities!

📍Columbia, SC
Last stop on "When In Columbia" tour we see it's a packed house at @kikischicken but what are the folks craving for?? Maybe it's their Soul Waffle ‼️

A local in Greenville, SC recommended me this spot 2 weeks prior to this visit (Thanks Michelle). The menu has large variety of items to choose from.

Of course I've read some mixed reviews but speaking my experience I enjoyed what I got. The food was fresh, seasoned but not overwhelming (Grilled Pork Chops, Whole Honey Wings).

If anything, start with their Signature "Red Velvet Waffle" 🧇
