WINNERS RESPOND DIFFERENT

You can tell a lot about a player by how they react when someone else gets recognized.

When someone else gets praised, a losing mindset rolls their eyes, changes their body language, gets jealous, makes excuses, or shows, why them?

Winners react differently.

In winning programs, when your teammate gets recognized, you get PUMPED for them. You celebrate them, and then you look in the mirror and say

Good stuff. Now I’ve gotta raise my level, Raise my intensity,
Raise my effort, Raise my focus, Raise my consistency!

Someone else being recognized doesn’t take anything away from you. It should motivate you.

That’s how winning cultures are built. Players push players. Teammates celebrate teammates. And when one person raises the standard, everybody in the gym has to rise with it.

At The Workhouse, we’re not just developing basketball players, we’re developing WINNERS!

Your response to someone else’s success tells us a lot about your mentality and your character!

Winners celebrate winners. Then they GET TO WORK!🦾

CONFIDENCE OVER EGO. 💯

Confidence is earned.

When you put the work in thousands of makes, early mornings, reps when nobody’s watching you earned the right to expect yourself to perform.

But expecting greatness without doing the work? That’s ego.

You’re not going to be perfect on the court. But if you want confidence when the pressure comes, build it through preparation.

WORK = PREPARATION = CONFIDENCE.

That’s what we’re teaching every morning in the Workhouse Warrior Program.

Recovery is training. Mobility is training. Longevity is training. 💯

A huge thank you to Flexible Assisted Training & Wellness for coming into the Workhouse and delivering an incredible recovery and mobility session for our athletes and staff.

Special shoutout to Maddie, who absolutely crushed it. She took the time to work with every athlete individually, identifying areas of tightness, improving movement patterns, and giving each player personalized attention while also leading the entire group through an outstanding session. Her energy, knowledge, and passion were second to none.

Thank you to Nate for making this partnership happen. We truly appreciate you bringing such a high-level resource to the Workhouse family.

I (David Cooper) have personally experienced their assisted stretching, and I can honestly say the results were unbelievable. I felt looser, moved better, recovered faster, and the benefits lasted for weeks. Imagine what consistent treatment, combined with following their recommendations, can do for your body and performance.

At the Workhouse, we’re committed to developing complete athletes—not just stronger, faster, and more skilled, but healthier, more mobile, and more durable. That’s why we’re excited to continue incorporating the techniques and principles we learned from Flexible Assisted Training & Wellness into our program.

If you’re an athlete, parent, coach, or someone who simply wants to move and feel better, do yourself a favor and check them out. Your body will thank you.

The best athletes don’t just train hard—they recover just as hard.

🏆 APPAREL IMPACT PRESENTS: WORKHOUSE WARRIOR OF THE WEEK 🏆

⭐️ CARDAVIA COOPER | 6’0” G | 6’4” WINGSPAN | CLASS OF 2030

At just 13 years old, Cardavia Cooper continues to show why she is emerging as a serious rising High Major Division I talent.

This week wasn’t just about making shots or winning drills. It was about WORK. LEADERSHIP. CONSISTENCY.

🏀 5AM workouts
⛰️ Running hills
🏊🏿‍♀️ Swimming & recovery
💪🏿 Getting stronger
🔥 Competing every possession
🗣️ Learning how to lead

Cardavia continues to become quicker, stronger, more confident, and more complete. At 6’0” with a 6’4” wingspan, she has the versatility to guard multiple positions while continuing to expand her offensive game.

And she’s only 13.

The incoming Bedford High School freshman played up at the U15 level this AAU season with the Rivals and closed out the year with a Select Events tournament championship—finishing the championship game with:

🔥 34 POINTS
🔥 14 REBOUNDS
🔥 5 ASSISTS
🔥 3 BLOCKS
🔥 6/7 FROM THREE

But what earned her Warrior of the Week wasn’t what she did during the AAU season.

It’s what she’s doing AFTER it.

Showing up at 5AM. Working. Competing. Leading. Growing.

The talent is undeniable.

The work is what separates her.

Congratulations to our Apparel Impact Workhouse Warrior of the Week, Cardavia Cooper! 🏆⚔️

A huge thank you to Apparel Impact, an incredible community partner whose commitment to making a difference and supporting the next generation helps make opportunities like the Workhouse Warrior Program possible. We are proud to have them presenting and standing behind our Warrior of the Week!

🔥 WORKHOUSE WARRIOR SPOTLIGHT 🔥

Another star from the North has arrived. 🇨🇦

Shalan Beckford Class of 2028, Canada’s next rising star, #1 Ranked Point Guard in the State of Florida, and one of the top rising point guards in the country recently came through the Workhouse to train with our staff. Our trainers have worked with and helped develop NBA players, and every workout is built around the same professional standards, attention to detail, and intensity.

Now starring at The Potter’s House Prep in Florida while playing on the 3SSB circuit with Austin Rivers SE Elite, Shalan has been an absolute terror this summer. Session after session, he’s proving he belongs among the nation’s elite, and as a result, Division I offers continue to roll in while college interest keeps growing.

At 5’11” with a 6’4” wingspan, Shalan plays much bigger than his size. He’s explosive getting downhill, finishes through contact against bigger defenders, and competes on every possession. Defensively, he has the length, athleticism, and toughness to guard the 1, 2, and even some 3s. His mid-range game is already a weapon, and as his three-point shot continues to improve, his ceiling keeps getting higher.

One thing we loved seeing was Shalan embracing the competition at the Workhouse. He went head-to-head with some of our own rising talent, including Ryan Azzun, a 6’3” Class of 2028 guard with Rivals who continues to emerge as a legitimate Division I prospect, and Yaseen Fathalla, one of New Hampshire’s top up-and-coming freshmen and another Rivals standout who has already shown he can compete with anyone throughout New England. Iron sharpens iron, and that’s exactly what the Workhouse is all about bringing together elite players from across North America to push one another every single day.

What separates Shalan is his coachability, competitive spirit, and commitment to getting better. He’s a high-level prospect with tremendous upside, and if he continues on this path, he has every opportunity to become a legitimate professional prospect.

Remember the name: Shalan Beckford. Canada continues to produce elite talent, and Shalan is proving he
