Today I went to the most awesome pet boutique in Palm Springs!!! Mommy forgot to pack our dog toys 🙈 but I was so thankful she took me to help pick out some toys for our trip! They have so many cute toys 🎾 treats 🦴 supplements, and dog gear !!!

They even sell one of the brands I rep for @pink_papyrus 💖 & carry their the bff mini (bag/treat holders), bandanas, and bow ties! I was so thankful mommy found the pet store and it was so close to our hotel. Mommy loves to shop local owned businesses while vacationing & we got to chat with the owner who was very kind and gave us some cactus shaped cookies to take home and share with Rocky & Penny!!! Plus we went home with new toys and treats!!! Make sure to visit @coldnosewarm the next time you visit Downtown Palm Springs, you’ll definitely find something for your furry for-legged furiends🐶🐱

POV: You’re a well-traveled pitbull living your best desert life. 🌴

☀️ Guillermo kicked off his Palm Springs getaway with a VIP (Very Important Pup) check-in @rowanpalmsprings where the beds are fluffy and the vibes are fluffier.

Between sunbathing on the balcony, sniffing everything on Palm Canyon Drive, and charming the staff out of treats, Guillermo is officially on vacation mode.

Guillermo is peacefully contemplating life at a dog-friendly cafe like he’s the main character 🐶✨

Favorite Spots:
🐾 @rowanpalmsprings of course
🐾 @coldnosewarm - ya gotta have a new toy
🐾 Loves the staff and snacks @shermansdeli and
@athleta and @ralphlauren at @theshopsonelpaseo @elpatiopalmsprings

Thank you for all the cookies at each location and water bowls along with all the hugs 🤠🌴

Follow Guillermo Felipe for more vacation shenanigans in 2025

Turns out Palm Springs has better leadership advice than most PDs...
because sometimes the best strategy isn’t in your notebook — it’s in your nervous system.

🕊️

🌴 Long walks with Guillermo
☀️ Zero alarms
🛏️ The kind of hospitality that reminds you to slow down (shoutout to @rowanpalmsprings — you GET it 👏🏽)

And so does our list of favorite places

Here’s what I remembered this week:

➡️ Rest is productive
➡️ Presence is power
➡️ Leaders who protect their peace lead more powerfully

Whether you're an assistant principal, instructional coach, principal — this is your sign to pause on purpose.

🐾 Oh — and yes, Guillermo gives The Rowan 5 paws up for being pet-friendly, treat-ready, and sunshine-approved. @delialovesguillermo Thank you to everyone for his daily dose of back scratchies and snackies. He even got two bags to take home 🤠

✨ Need instructional leadership resources to reduce your stress levels? Check.
Visit my leadership shop on TPT for tools that support you year-round.
📚 Need a book for your summer stack?
My book on TRUST is on sale now on Amazon. DM me for either link — I’ve got you.
