As summer comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on the myriad of experiences and emotions it has brought. From bidding farewell to newfound friends in Louisiana to rekindling old connections, this season has been a whirlwind of growth, celebration, and introspection.

During these past few months, I’ve dedicated myself to expanding my nonprofit, Black Men Work, and forging partnerships with local leadership organizations to drive my social justice initiatives forward. Additionally, I’ve delved into the study of spiritually centered concepts as they intersect with community service.

Today marks a pivotal moment in my personal journey. Although I still have a long way to go, I’ve reached a point where I can wholeheartedly focus on realizing my aspirations. Keep an eye on my other pages for exciting updates – there’s much more to come! @black_men_work @justinthesocialworker

The legacy of a Brothers Empowered to Teach fellow is woven into the bonds they make with their students, extending far beyond the walls of the classroom.

Through these connections, BE2T fellows are privileged to witness their students not only achieve but surpass their own greatness, leaving a mark on generations to come. #legacy #be2t #fellowship #educator
