Kaitlin @cole_studio is the ultimate artist champion, she is so incredibly supportive of other artists. Her own work is sensational! The bright colours of her watercolour bugs are my favourite, although the spider creeps me out, but that’s true of all spiders. This lady paints a mantis like it’s no one’s business!

Just look at this hauntingly talented bunch! We’ve got a #ghost with a sweet tooth, a fancy little bookworm, a saintly ghost, a Christmas spirit who showed up WAY too early, a jack-o’-lantern ghost, a pink party crasher, a boo-berry pie baker, and even a ghost who apparently arrived from outer space! 🛸😂
Different #artists, different styles, and Every little ghost has its own personality, and that’s what makes this #collaboration so much FUN! ❤️
And guess what? The party isn’t dead yet! 💀

A fantastic photographer and art friend Kari, dropped this gorgeous reference into our community chat, I immediately wanted to paint it.
I wasn’t completely satisfied with the outcome (slide 2) and was scared to add to it in fear of ruining the whole piece.
I was told to put my big girls pants on and go with my instincts, so after a few days of just staring at it, I went back in!
I like - that the distance flower and background has a bit more depth.
I learned - I can be brave & it really is just paper!
