The Q3 Dump is in ! First, I’d like to thank you all for being here with me, I truly appreciate each and every one of you. To be honest, I struggled these past few month. The only thing that mattered to me were all of the things I never got around to doing. All the numbers I didn’t think were quite right, all practices I didn’t make it to, all the plans I cancelled, all the goals I didn’t meet. I held a lot of turmoil around the lack of perceived progress that I had been making, but recent events in my life have reminded me just how far I have come in the long run and that my growth is documented very well. I’ve done quite a bit of becoming over the last couple of years and I can’t wait to see just how far I can go. Thank you to the people who have seen me grow and I have nothing more for the people who worked against it. As always, it’s just love over here, and as long as I’m around, you will never be alone..

Last month’s SZR Day Party had everything: a whole lotta rump-shakin cause our deejays @hunyrocks & @kinellaeclipse gave us nann choice…the Leos showed OUT—especially our host @rynaissanceeee & birthday girl @kai.estelle91…and all the sapphics piled in lookin tasty af. Lil bit of rain ain’t stop a damn thang. ✂️💅🏾 This Saturday, 9/19, we’re back for our final edition of the year. Cue the saxophones getting louder—summer is almost over, lezbeans, but this party about to be a movie. We have an extra hour, we’re starting later in the afternoon so you got more time to put that shit on, and *five* familiar faces are on the lineup to keep it poppin. 👅 Report to @5801videolounge to day party into the night with deejays HUNY XO & OHKAY! (@kaylalukitsch’s debut set!) plus hosts @kai.estelle91, @gege_got_jokes, & @_juicedupjoey. 5-10pm and free to attend 💘 📸 @kaylalukitsch

UPDATE: postponed to 9/26 due to the rain forecast ☔️ one final Cherry Bomb Day Party tomorrow (2-8pm in the alley next to @tracebrewing) and believe me when I say it was hard won. between everybody and they mama wanting an alley party and the insufferable Karen antics of certain Bloomfield residents I’ve already aired out…it’s been a struggle. but here we go. one more time. 🍒💣 I mentioned in my stories a couple weeks ago that while I was in LA I attended @theyhousela’s Sunday Sessions takeover in @grandpark_la and had a spiritual experience. I haven’t danced that hard at a party in years and it was all house music. that solidified a lingering thought I’d had for months—that I should narrow the focus of Cherry Bomb Day Party to house the same way I did for Cherry Bomb which became a techno party when it returned to @spiritpgh as a monthly residency in February. thank you, @terrell_.brooke ❤️‍🔥 I feel good about this remix of the Cherry Bomb brand—house in the sun and techno into demon hours. I got some very fab deejays joining me that are gon go BEAST MODE: my werk husband @rojowashere, my lil sis @manibahia_, and the talented @khankuma140 who is joining a MoB lineup for the first time. he’s not queer but his moms are so that’s extended fam. 🏳️‍🌈 I hope everyone comes ready to dance and feel some communal togetherness and joy. I also hope it doesn’t rain or at least not much. if it does we’ll have to postpone. I’ma hope the universe sees me fit for a blessing so we can just have this 6 hour mental health break. it’s needed. here’s to brighter days 🙏🏾 📸 @coledupo

Pro-tip: if you like it vibey and sexy, that’s how it usually begins. If you like to pop some ass and turn up, that’s usually how it ends. If you want the full journey come early and stay late! negative scans from SophiePeel (my handmade peel-apart film). in addition to getting an instant print, my process is extremely similar to Type 55 in that you get a negative (in this case, Agfa x-ray) that you can use like any other traditional B&W negative. I get to give the sitter a beautiful, one-of-a-kind instant print and I get to keep the negative for my portfolio. win win! #analog #peelapart #polaroid #fp100c #instantfilm

The last passengers had everything: good music (courtesy pilot @manibahia_), a perfect sonic arc (R&B to ass-shakin bops), a custom cocktail that had our bawdies buzzin (@kaylalukitsch did it again), sapphics, hugs, smiles, and fabbb energy. Debuting an already existing event at a new venue can be nerve-racking, especially mid-summer, but passengers at @jackworthgingerbeer felt entirely correct. We can’t wait to do it again this Sunday with @djyamez conducting the 4-hour journey. It’s free and it’s a vibe. Let’s ride, 9/6, 6-10pm, at 6615 Hamilton Ave 🪂☁️ 📸 @hunyrocks
