september was the epitome of “two things can be true at the same time”

i spent time with every single member of my family and got to do my favorite thing: be aunt erica

my husband and i went to vail on our now-annual family trip with @swansonthebigreddox and it was even more stunning than last year

i also got scary medical news and have dedicated a ton of energy toward research and appointments and weighing all of my options, none of which feel quite right yet

but through it all i have felt out pouring love and support from those closest to me and those i haven’t seen in a while. community is so beautiful - perhaps especially when you’re reallllly going through it. thank you for proving that to me this month 🤍

Late post but besties for life

at the heart of the day - our family 🫶🏼

from the moment we started planning our wedding, every decision revolved around making the most of having our people all in one place for an entire weekend.

and the weekend was about more than just our marriage.

it was about having each member of our immediate families in the ceremony. it was about getting ready with my sisters and my mom, and having my two older sisters by my side as my maids of honor - and getting to soak in how much of a gift sisterhood really is.

our weekend was about the cutest ring security squad and flower girls. it was about the incredible ceremony by my brother-in-law. it was about my brother giving a toast the night before his baby sister’s wedding and mom making everyone in the room cry during hers. it was about the retelling of our childhood by my dad and my in-laws who spoke at the wedding. it was about honoring our grandparents who couldn’t be there with us all, but who were there in spirit.

and it was about my favorite part: the family dance. it’s so rare to have all of us in one place and airport guy and i wanted to mark such occasion with something special. so we started our own new tradition, a quick kid-friendly dance party bringing all of our parents, step parents, siblings, step siblings and nieces and nephews together on the dance floor. it was absolutely perfect. and something i will remember for all my life.

sometimes i just have to think about how beautiful it is to have family *and* step-family who we truly love spending time with.

i cannot recommend getting all your favorite people from each stage of life and living in a house together for a weekend to celebrate a big life event enough

these women (and Cole) have seen me through so much in life and always been the best support system in every high and especially every low. i love you all forever!!! cannot wait to all reunite so soon at the wedding 🤪❤️‍🔥🪭

It was the…worst of times. 2025 was so many things (I won’t post about publicly) that I never thought could happen. To me. To loved ones. It was a lot. It’s still a lot. I also laughed and smiled and danced and accomplished things and quit bad habits and patterns and read books and binged 4 housewives series. I coached. I trained clients. I started swimming!! Idc what 2026 has for me because there are still a lot of real housewives series left to watch, so lmk which one is your fav. Thx!
