NXL Texas is a wrap for the Warriors.

After fighting through a grindy prelim bracket and earning the top seed in our bracket, our run ended Sunday in the quarterfinals.

The average age of our line this weekend was 18.5 years old.

I’ve led Marines. I’ve led business teams. I’ve had the privilege of leading a lot of people in high pressure environments. The composure, resilience, leadership and selflessness I watched from these young men this weekend made me incredibly proud.

They put the team before themselves. They fought for each other. They solved problems together. They fought until the last second of every point. When they won, they won with class. When they lost, it hurt, because they’re competitors, but they lost with class too.

Our message all weekend was simple: Us Against the Problem. And they lived it.

The Warriors are only seven months old. Five tournaments together. Two first place finishes and four Sunday appearances. We still have a lot to learn and a lot of work ahead of us, but the best part is watching these boys grow as leaders every single tournament.

There’s nothing that will stop these boys.

A Brotherhood Forged in Battle.

Another great Sunday of work for the Warriors.

Today was about competing, communicating, working through adversity, and getting better together. Really proud of the way these boys continue to hold each other accountable, work through frustrations, and keep pushing each other without losing sight of the team.

Finished the day with one of our best team debriefs yet. Lots of learning, lots of growth, and another productive weekend in the books.

The NXL Texas layout drops this week.

Now the real work begins.

Texas, we’re coming. ⚔️

Great weekend of work for the Warriors getting ready for NXL Texas 2026. ⚔️

Proud of these dudes. Lots of good paintball today, great competition, and another big step forward as a team. We’re learning, adjusting, communicating, and getting better every time we step on the field.

Huge thanks to our buddies at @splat_houston and especially the guys from @htxhomicidepb for the great points and competition today.

Texas is getting close. Can’t wait. ⚔️⚔️⚔️

The Warriors traded the guns for flags this weekend and headed up to @paintballfit to ref the @xtplevents

Huge thank you to everyone at Paintball Fit, the XTPL crew, and all the teams and players who competed this weekend. We appreciate the opportunity to come be a small part of putting on a great event.

I’m especially proud of these boys.

Reffing paintball all day in August in Texas is no joke. It’s hot, it’s exhausting, and nobody is going to thank you for every call you make. But these guys showed up, worked hard, laughed a lot, took care of each other, and got the job done together.

A little shared misery makes for some pretty damn good memories.

Proud of you boys. The Warrior Way.

There’s something special about watching young men choose hard things.

Another tournament in the books. More lessons learned. More memories made. More opportunities to grow.

Proud of every Warrior who put on the jersey this weekend. The standard keeps rising, and so do they.

Hungry. Humble.

See you at the next one.
