@ronny_theband ‘s first single is out now, via @soggyanvilrecords ! I did the album art! Go preorder a copy! This record/project is so special to me. When @masonstoops came into my life, in 2018, he brought a whirlwind of good times, great jams, and the best friends. Mason and I just never stopped hanging out. Every time we meet up, we pick up where we left off. An ongoing conversation. A never ending song. Mason and I started @soggyanvilrecords as a way to continue to collaborate, with my art/music, his musicianship/songwriting, and other songwriters. This project is really emblematic of what me and Mason envisioned for Soggy Anvil. Ronny! Might be my favorite thing I’ve watched Mason do, and had a small hand in. Ronny! was assembled when @scarrisonwhitford , @jacobjeffries , @coleseph_mcbeats , and Mason all moved into a house in Pasadena. Mason bought a tape machine, Jesse would run it for hours a day, weeks on end, while the boys got stoned, laughed, and got creative together. Their camaraderie comes through in every song. “Yes and-ind” each other into eternity. Building songs up. Me and @tristan_pelletier would go hang out while they recorded. Tristan took these great videos of them, while I took film photographs. My photos became the groundwork for the album cover/design.
