From the ground up with @firstascentsa Myself and @brentmanikam went all in on this in-house project and built a studio in our studio around the idea that “Movement Is Expression”. The colours of the garments were a bit of a new space for us as a brand, an opportunity to do something we’ve never done before. Inspired by the idea of colour blocking the garments we colour matched two cans of paint to the colour of the garments, bought some canvases off Facebook marketplace and created our own versions of one of my favourite expressionists, Rothko. There’s no better way to learn than getting your hands dirty. There’s no better feeling than working with your hands. 📹: @brentmanikam 📷: myself

I'll keep this short. 2025 was the best year of my life. It was far from perfect. But joh, what a journey. I wrote more about it in the last 3 slides... Thank you to everyone. I love you all ❣️ VASBYT!!! Highlights 1. Rocklands 2025 - where I fell in love with rock climbing (ft. @anniquebester, @gingerwafffles_ , @nicolle.bester and @kenleyswart) 2. AA (Abs Accountability) Week 47 ft. @pink._.em, Nicolle and Rachel 3. Jonkershoek - third wheeled adventure (one of many) 4. India Venster - my favourite route to guide on Table Mountain with my rock climbing partner, @rachel_pelser 5. Cape Point - my first project with @expeditiongapyear organised by @summer_phoeni.x 6. @jayde.nikitta and @xsunxchildx birthday snorkeling sesh 7. Lion's Head - my first trad climbing mission with @garystorm2712 8. Emily's Games Night 9. Wolfberg Cracks (my favourite route to guide period) - a chilled hike after a massive trail running event with @wild_cape_hikes, @jeanmichel_mountaingoat and @jarrod_marshall_ 10. Weekend well spent 🧗‍♂️⛺✨ Chasing crimps in Montagu, hanging with the best crew, giving horses some well-deserved scratches 🐴🤎, saying hi to the alpacas 🦙, stumbling upon Cape Town’s real Long Street, and camping under a billion stars. All the while just in awe of God’s beautiful creation — from the towering rock faces to the quiet valleys. 🏔️🌌
