I am so behind on sharing DP work, but I had a blast with my pals on this project last year! I really love the story in this one, I'm excited to see where it goes in festivals. Don't take love for granted!!!

And that’s a wrap on BONE SINGER 🥀🎥

When I finished this script in February, I don’t think I ever could have imagined the scope and scale this little witch story would reach, nor did I imagine directing would be something I’d throw myself into so passionately throughout most of the summer. This was the most ambitious project I’ve ever attempted, by far, and by no means at all was it not a little terrifying. It was also, I think, one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life.

Truly, this was an unbelievable production that still feels absolutely surreal. And this story, world, and characters wouldn’t have the life and soul that they do if not for the incredible team that came together to get this off the ground. Everyone that contributed their time and skill and creative vision to this- seriously, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. You all are the reason Kaia and Sadie became real ❤️

Goodbye to 29. I lost a lot this last year. I lost my home of two years. I lost my agent. I lost my car, twice. I lost my favorite sunglasses. I lost my grandma. I lost my relationship. I lost myself- and I’ve been looking for her ever since. Looking for the feeling of home. Looking for that path that feels right. I spent half my year fighting and the other half trying to stay so busy to forget. I’m ready for a year where things make sense. A year with less tears. A year where I can thrive and not just survive. I couldn’t have done 29 without my amazing friends. I owe them a lot. Now, as I turn 30, I enter a new decade, a new chapter, a new me. And I couldn’t be more excited. And respectfully, fuck you 29.
