Our next Coaches Spotlight for our 3rd Annual Fall Showcase is Coach Colin Doss from the University of Toccoa Falls in Toccoa Georgia.

Coach Doss is entering his first season as Head Coach at UTF.

Coach Doss has quickly established himself as one of the rising young coaches in collegiate and high school basketball, earning back-to-back Coach of the Year honors.

Most recently, Doss served as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Assistant Athletic Director at Murray High School in Kentucky, where he led the Tigers from a nine-win season to 21 victories in just one season. His efforts earned him the 2026 KABC Region Coach of the Year award.

Prior to Murray, Doss launched the men’s basketball program at John Melvin College in Pensacola, Florida. In its inaugural season, he led the program to a 25-6 record and a No. 10 national ranking. His team led the USCAA in scoring at 96 points per game and ranked first nationally in offensive efficiency, pace of play, three-pointers made, and three-point percentage.

Doss was named the 2025 New South Athletic Conference Coach of the Year and was nominated for the 2025 USCAA National Coach of the Year Award.

We are excited to have Coach Colin Doss at our next event on September 6th at Southeastern Prep!

8–8 doesn’t tell the whole story.

On the @risecircuit , we lost only one game by double figures all Summer … and that was to the eventual runner-up.

We traveled from Seattle to Boise, Sacramento, Las Vegas, Atlanta and Louisville, competing every step of the way and finishing with one of the top point differentials on the circuit with several close losses.

We played fast, pressed full court, let the 3 fly and shared the ball with an uncommon level of unselfishness for AAU travel basketball. Teams got nothing easy against us! More importantly, these guys worked hard, grew together and were fun to coach!

Getting to coach my son through all of it made the Summer even more special.

Proud of this team, proud of our growth and grateful for every mile and 🏀memory.

BIG shoutout to @idahopremierbasketball , our coaches and @coachcgrove for giving me and the boys the opportunity to be a part of their program!
