I’m so thankful and blessed for everyone who has made my first year of college one to remember. I’ve been blessed to work and make friends with a bunch of amazing people who have only helped me develop as a person and coach. So until next year and, as always, Go Pokes! 🤠

Quemar Los Barcos (QLB). A phrase that I didn’t know had been a part of my life all along, but through football truly learned what it meant… Yesterday I burnt my last boat as a player in the sport that took over my heart and changed my life.

Dear Football,

Whatever I’m about to say will never be enough to express what you mean to me. Thank you doesn’t even come close... That skinny 14 year old kid from England had no clue what this strange American sport could have ever possibly meant to him, but he’s so grateful he gave you a try. I am the man that I am today thanks to you; Relentless, Disciplined, Ambitious, Hard Working and Confident are just a few things that you have taught me to be, and because of that I am ready for whatever life throws at me.

My journey has not been anywhere near as smooth sailing as it may have seemed from the outside but one way or another, through football I found happiness and strength to keep going. And to those that have been along for the ride with me, I cannot thank you enough either.
To my family, you have been my biggest support, and without you in my corner believing in me every step of the way, I honestly would not be where I am today. Gracias! Os amo!
To the brothers I have made through this sport, Thank you and I love you. You will be with me for the rest of my life and just for that alone I am eternally grateful to you football.

Sussex Thunder, Thank you for introducing me to the sport. Bristol Pride, Thank you for the opportunity and the reason I learned to make football my life. Peru State, Thank you for taking me in and letting me live out a dream.

Coach Burnham, Thank you for changing my life. Thank you for helping me find a whole new love for this sport, Thank you for fighting for me day in and day out, Thank you for teaching me everything I now know about this beautiful sport, Thank you for the life lessons, Thank you for QLB.

My time in pads may be done, but our life together is only just getting started. You taught me to dream big and that’s what I will continue to do.

It will never be goodbye, just moving onto a new book in the series.
