Grateful to Paul and Megan @poetryireland for welcoming @colincriss and I at the PIR offices and giving us each a copy of Issue #146, fall '25. A dream to have a poem (two from Colin!!) in here, with many thanks to guest editor Stephen Sexton.

This elegy, Slow, was written for my friend and long-time collaborator and bandmate @getmcmahon who loved Ireland and whose family has roots here. Feels right to have it first published in PIR. 🖤

The poem will appear in my second book, VIRGA, which is forthcoming from the good folks @tupelopress in spring '28!! A good day with good folks in a good place. Xoxo Cam

On this, Ireland's National Poetry Day, lovely, moving, and educational morning with Yvonne Corcoran Loftus @jackieclarkecollection & Museum of Irish History in Ballina, Co. Mayo. Selections of the Clarke's collection of over 100,000 Irish artifacts and papers dating back centuries. A must see if you are in the West. Thank you, Yvonne, and Martin Dyar for the recommendation!!

Have begun a two-person reading group of Geoffrey Hill’s complete poems with my friend Colin. Here’s a couple poems from Hill’s first collection that we discussed in depth.
