Happy Birthday Colin ❤️
•

On his 66th birthday, the Italian page wishes actor Colin Firth a happy birthday.
~ I didn't want to write a long, overly sentimental, or redundant message. People often write a lot without being completely sincere, whereas I simply want to wish long live the king and thank this September 10th for bringing into the world someone it truly needed.
At 21, with a long way ahead of me, I don't follow Colin Firth out of some superficial infatuation or teenage crush, but out of a much deeper feeling: genuine respect.
I have many dreams, one of which is to become a film journalist and write a piece on Colin—not to exalt him or hide behind grand words, but to share the truth of who he is and how much he can mean when viewed through the right lens.
Those very dreams were born from being captivated by his cinema and by that look that whispers 'dream on, boy, dream on'—a look I have never stopped turning to, and the same one that keeps me moving forward.

Disclosure Day, di Steven Spielberg (2026)

«Posso rispondere molto facilmente: Niente.

Colin Firth talks about the central theme of the movie Disclosure Day and makes a memorable joke about Spielberg:

«I think I can answer that quite easily: none. I mean, zero.
I’ve always been somewhat curious, but as far, you know, to me: okay, mystery. I quite like mystery, I’d love to find out something. But I never was one of the people who went down a rabbit hole.
But five minutes with Steven and hearing what he knows, or suspects, or hopes... And let’s be clear, when I say ‘knows’, by the way, don’t get... there’s no... he doesn’t... he knows what the rest of... he’s seen the congressional hearings... (laughs and jokes with the interviewer).
But it’s contagious. The curiosity just gets... you see, and I realized that it had affected everybody, so then you do start to talk. Yeah, I watched the documentary and it was compelling. You know, I see why people do go down the rabbit hole»
