Another great year for the 100+ Men of Red Rock Golf Tournament!

It’s pretty incredible to see what happens when nearly 150 local men come together with one goal, supporting the nonprofits that make the Red Rock area such a great place to live.

Great golf, great people, hot day but we will take it, I’m very grateful to be part of this group and the impact it continues to make in our community.

Already looking forward to next year!

I'm thankful for so much these days, especially as I reach certain life milestones at a seemingly frantic pace.

It's been six quick months since the Class of 2025 moved on from life at Pella High School. A lot has happened since, and so many of them are closing in on finishing the first semester in their next chapter.

Sometime between the "Double Dutch Dream" 🏆 🏆 and the incredible postseason this fall, I got a window to update the wall that sits in my office. It remains a popular talking point for guests and the signed photos serve as a reminder of my "why."

Even as the Class of '26 forges something incredible on their own, I hope any of those who just graduated also know how appreciated they still are by this storyteller, who somehow makes a living following their respective journeys. Hopefully the tough new lessons have been followed by new friendships and a true launch into the next chapter of a long and happy life.

Happy Thanksgiving to all who make this a unique vocation and situation. I'll try to catch my breath for a second, because winter is here.
