Part 2/2 – More Mini FATJAM moments from Sugar Hills, Aarle-Rixtel, organised by @fatbmx and @paulsboutiquebmx. So much airtime all afternoon, and those trains of riders sending the jumps one after another were seriously impressive. 😮‍💨

The full gallery is linked in my bio – if you spot yourself and would like some photos, send me the file numbers via the gallery contact and I can email you up to five images per person.

Please tag @shotonmtb when you share them, thnx!!

Next to the riding, the Mini FATJAM has also been a way to get people together. It’s the unofficial outdoor season opener. Many parents are enjoying seeng their kids ride all day. Several ride with their kids. Former riders bring up stories about when they used to ride. Thanks to @the.real.fritskemaat for flipping the burgers and Jasper van Doorn for the onions to give the hamburger 🍔 that extra taste. The FATJAM in Ale Blie never dies.

What a day! BMX, Burgers, Beers, Buddies…. Thanks for showing up and shredding the Sugar Hills Trails in Aarle-Rixtel during the 2026 Mini FATJAM. Great to see that after 36 years the spot is still being used for good times on BMX bikes.

Cheers also to the sponsors for donating goodies for those who deserved it most. Everybody happy. The main reason for doing these jams. Smiles on faces. Personal challenges conquered. Meeting new people. Catching up with everyone.

It got hectic in April. When the sun shows up, there’s no stopping us. The annual Mini FATJAM was mega. So many people showed up for a fun BMX session in Aarle-Rixtel and the afterparty at OJA. Coldplay candlelight concert with Veerle. Beuk set up a BMX jam in Den Bosch. We visited the Oldskool BMX show in Heesch. Mom turned 85 and threw a party. Harley Davidson Liberator show in Ale Blie. New pump track check in Deurne. Philip and I cruised over to Switzerland 🇨🇭for the @mxgp and rode the Winterthur BMX track, Frauenfeld’s pump track and the Skillz park. Too many photos to show in the April review. Here’s a selection.

It's easy to get stuck in conversation and to forget about taking some pics on the day. But we managed to capture some of the activity of the 2025 Mini FATJAM in Aarle-Rixtel.

Thanks to all supporters of the jam. Always a big help to have people behind you and that's very much appreciated.

Here's another batch of photos for the heck of it.

See you all (again) at the summer FATJAM on 30 August 2025, the big brother of the Mini FATJAM. This one, since 1988.
