Have another nice little project in for a rebuild. Washer from the air cleaner, decided to leave the chat and have a dance party in the cylinder before getting wedged between the piston and the head. So we got it tore down and found the cam chain tensioners were also wore,. So checked the crank run out (with the @darkhorsemoco inspection tool)to make sure that there was no damage there, inspected oil pump and cam plate for excess wear. Now for putting it back together! Oh and I am still loving these @collabconceptsinc cylinder hold downs and @9fingerfabrication lifter holders! #belowcustomz #harleydavidson #builditbetter #keepstriving

A quick little freshening up on this trike. Customer brought it in for a rattle and turned out to be a blown head gasket. And to make sure it’s done right we pulled the cylinders to replace the base gaskets and the head studs so that way he’ll be good to go, with no more issues. Also shout out to @collabconceptsinc for their amazing product to keep pistons and rings protected! #belowcustomz #harleydavidson #performance #keepstriving

⚡️The finished bike gets the attention, but this is the part I love.⚡️

The conversations.
The problem solving.
The small details.
Learning from people who have spent years mastering their craft.

Getting another big twin cam 124 wrapped up and ready to roll out to Sturgis! Building motors might be my favorite thing I do here! Can’t wait to see this one out tearing up the streets!!!

I recently got some new products from @collabconceptsinc. I finally got the chance to put them to use building this beast of a 124”. These are pretty useful so far! I am digging the cylinder hold downs! Makes it a lot easier than having to find a head bolt and a spacer. And the Pistons saver sleeves are pretty nice. They’re actually made out of a flexible almost rubber type material so they’re not rigid and they protect real nice. I will definitely be putting these to the test!!!! And of course I gotta use my lower protective caps to keep things clean!#belowcustomz #harleydavidson #perfomance #cantstopmenow

Turns out if you adjust your preload on the front end correctly, the bike rides like a whole new bike!

In other news, this Sunday wasn’t all sunshine and motorcycle rides…. It was itchy and involved cutting fiberglass, but now the Klock Werks FXRP fairing fits the Dyna inverted front end! So that is a win!

Also got the first batch of @collabconceptsinc Cylinder Stays packaged and ready to make someone’s building process a little more enjoyable!
