We’re proud to support @skatenelsonbays and the incredible work they’re doing in our community, the nelson skate scene and now what could be for the entire NZ skate community.

Creating an amazing space for all skills sets, be it Skateboarding, Scooter or BMX - of all ages young & young at heart, to get involved, develop their skills, grow their talent or maybe become the next generation of Olympians 🇳🇿

As a local skate shop, we love being apart of a community & getting behind it, to support spaces that encourage everyone to be active, have fun, connect and generally just be stoked! This isn’t just a “project” this is for the future and generations to come.

We hope to see you all rally behind this project.
See ya at Saxtons!!!!!!!

📢 Announcement 📢
We are stoked to officially announce that the Washington Way Bowl Jam is happening on the 28th of November.

Divisions will be open men's and women's, 15 and under boys and girls, and masters.

Building off last year, this year's comp is looking to be huge with skaters from across NZ and Australia looking to attend. With 5k in cash up for grabs across the divisions and a load of product prizes, skaters will be putting it down in Ōtautahi Christchurch, in one of the biggest and gnarlyest bowls in the country. This is gonna be an event not to be missed.

We have a huge lineup of sponsors who have come onboard to help make this event happen, including full support from @skateboarding.nz
Book your flights now and come be a part of the madness that goes down at Washington Way.

@outsidersskate go skate day 2026 sponsored by @lakai_nz and @collabdist ( @acetrucks ) 🤝

Had to change the day from the Sunday to the Saturday because the @nzwarriors were playing in town and I couldn’t miss that…

The weather gods turned it on, but different to last year!

Mad love to the 03 skate community, such a fun day 🫶👊
