Please welcome Zhouyi Zuo @collabozhouyi to the DMA Program in Fall 2025!

He is originally from Jingzhou, Hubei, China. He earned his undergraduate degree from Soochow University and his master’s degree in Piano Performance from the University of Kansas.

A note from Zhouyi: While I am a classical pianist, my secret passion lies in Chinese rock music. I can easily spend hours listening to various bands. Sometimes, I imagine what it would be like if Beethoven were to take the stage as a rocker suddenly—his hair certainly fits the part!
