🫶Purim, like all holidays, can be triggering for those who’ve lost a loved one.

🎊Purim is especially hard since it’s a festive and joyous holiday- and it’s a mitzvah, a torah obligation to be b’Simcha, Happy.

The month “Adar”comes from the word “Adir, Strong One”.

🎭While the story of Purim played out the Jews were living in very dark times in what must have felt like doomsday.
They had a small chance of hope when Queen Esther arrived at the palace.
They lost that sliver when they heard that she invited the evil Haman (Hamas) to her party unaware of her ulterior motives.
At this point they had no choice but to turn to HaShem,G-d, completely.
Somehow they were able to dig out their last remaining bit of Strength, to fast and pray to G-d for their salvation.
We know how it ends.
