A little BTS from making IKEA — Begin Again

01 Probably not our best idea: shooting on the coldest day of the year at -10°C/ 14 F. 🥶

02 But we made it work

03 Before: Many, many boxes of IKEA furniture waiting to be assembled.

04 After: Production Designer @cvitto transformed them into a cozy IKEA living room for the final scene.

05 watching a shot

06 DP @alxpalumbo doing his magic.

07 Double-checking the frame.

08 @cvitto and @karllikesotto assembling yet another IKEA lamp.

09 Directing a scene

10 In Paris editing with the talented @colleen.here

11 @alexfouquet.fr composing the score.

12 checking off the shotlist

13 Akira and Alex

14 @akirasimoneau and @marcel_simoneau_ waiting for the next scene

Thanks so much to everyone who made this happen! 🙏❤️

Turns out… greenpointers did not just build snowmen.
You built masterpieces.
McGolrick, McCarren, random sidewalks — 10/10 creativity. 🤌

Year Ten!

I love you all. Ten films, new and old friends, base jumpers, hot air balloons, a shooting star, Hillary Clinton, waterfalls, and a bear. Mostly good omens. All wonder, all light.
