Choose Your Hard. Life is not easy. What I can tell you is that being lost in alcoholism and self loathing is hard. Doing the work of recovery is hard. Feeling like you are at the mercy of your moods is hard. Committing to emotional recovery is hard. Being fat is hard. Being healthy is hard. Today I choose my hard and it is not easy but today I will do what I need to do to be as healthy and strong as I can be physically, emotionally, spiritually. Today I Choose Me. #iamsugarfree #chooseyourhard #emotionalsobriety #ichooseme

Roasted Cauliflower Kale Quinoa Salad. This picture does not do this delicious new recipe justice! Oh my so much goodness. I roasted the cauliflower, chopped sweet potatoes, kale and garbanzo beans. This was all tossed with warm quinoa and crumbled feta. This was dressed with a light homemade apple cider vinaigrette. Unbelievably yummy & satisfying! Another huge hit with my carnivore husband. 😋 #iamsugarfree #iksrecipes #nosugar #plantbasedrecipes
