What a wonderful full-circle moment!

A heartfelt thank you to the College of the Desert Foundation for inviting me to speak at today’s Board of Directors meeting. As a proud COD alumna, it was an honor to share a little about my journey and how the opportunities and experiences I gained at College of the Desert helped shape the path I’m on today.

I’m incredibly grateful for the Foundation’s continued dedication to investing in our local students, opening doors, and creating opportunities for the next generation to pursue their dreams. The impact of that support extends far beyond the classroom, and I’m living proof of what those opportunities can inspire.

A special thank you to the talented Kent Kay for putting together such a thoughtful introduction video to share with the Board! I truly appreciate the time you put into it.

It’s always a privilege to return to a place that played such an important role in my story. Here’s to continuing to uplift and invest in the future of our Coachella Valley students!
