A big thank you to Project Build for creating garden beds for all four of our Fun Time Early Childhood Academy locations! 🌱

Through hands-on learning and mentorship, Project Build empowers youth to build skills for the future. We’re grateful for their generosity and excited for our little learners to watch flowers and vegetables grow! 🌻🥕

A special thank you to the Collier Community Foundation’s Nonprofit Leadership Academy for bringing our CEO, Christen Krembs, and Aram Wheatley, Founder and CEO of Project Build, together and helping make this partnership possible!

Ensuring Survivors Have Access to Care—24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week🩵

Project HELP is incredibly grateful to the Collier Community Foundation for a generous $70,000 grant supporting our Sexual Assault Forensic Exam Program.
When someone experiences sexual violence, access to compassionate, specialized care should never depend on the time of day, their ability to pay, or whether they know where to turn.

Through Project HELP’s Sexual Assault Forensic Exam Program, survivors in Collier County have access to 24/7, no-cost, trauma-informed forensic medical care and evidence collection.

Specially trained Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs), alongside our advocates, provide timely care, crisis support, information, and options while helping survivors maintain choice and
control throughout the process.

This funding helps Project HELP preserve critical evidence, reduce barriers to care, connect survivors with ongoing advocacy and healing services, and strengthen our community’s coordinated response to sexual violence.

We are deeply grateful to the Collier Community Foundation for investing in this critical work and helping ensure that when a survivor needs us, Project HELP is here.🩵

Please join us in congratulating Christen Krembs, our CEO of Fun Time Academy, on completing the Nonprofit Leadership Academy!

Leadership is a journey of continuous growth, and we’re proud of Christen for taking the time to learn, connect, and expand her perspective alongside other nonprofit leaders in our community.

At Fun Time Academy, we know that strong organizations are built by people who are willing to keep learning and evolving. Experiences like the Leadership Academy help us bring fresh ideas, stronger connections, and new opportunities back to the work we do every day for the children and families we serve. 💙

We’re also grateful to the Naples Children Foundation, Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation, and Collier Community Foundation for their commitment to strengthening nonprofit leadership and supporting the people behind the organizations making a difference in our community.

Congratulations, Christen! We’re proud of this accomplishment and excited to see where your continued growth and leadership take Fun Time Academy!

The Conservancy of Southwest Florida is proud to partner with the Greater Naples Chamber, Florida Gulf Coast University, and Friends of Rookery Bay to launch SEED Collier, a new fellowship program designed to cultivate informed leaders who can help guide responsible growth and strengthen the long-term resilience of Collier County.

As our community continues to grow, decisions about land use, water resources, infrastructure, development, and operations have lasting impacts on both our economy and environment.

SEED Collier recognizes that many of these decisions are made by professionals outside of traditional environmental fields. The program is designed to help leaders across business, government, planning, development, healthcare, education, hospitality, real estate, public works, and other sectors better understand the connection between environmental stewardship, economic vitality, and community resilience.

Participants will engage with experts, explore local environmental challenges and opportunities, and develop practical strategies for integrating sustainability and resilience into their work.

Topics include:
💧 Water resources and watershed function
🌊 Coastal resilience
🏡 Responsible growth
🌳 Land management
♻️ Environmental stewardship
💙 Community resilience
🔬 Science-based decision-making

Thank you Women’s Foundation of Collier County for funding our mission that women should thrive at all ages especially in their golden years, not just survive.

The blessing in taking care of my Mom the last 15 years of her life was giving her the feeling of independence for as long as possible, It was good for her state of mind and mood. This grant allows me to honor her life by giving this feeling of independence to other women we serve.
