“All of the trees are losing their leaves, and not one of them is worried”

I’m grateful for the past 4 years of being a collegiate athlete: my teammates, coaches, opportunities, pitfalls and successes.

This was a chapter in my life that almost never even happened, and honestly almost ended early a few times. I am ultimately glad that I saw it through.

As excited as I am for what is to come next in my life, leaving this sport was never going to be easy. There are very few, if any, opportunities in life where you are given the chance, and resources to pursue your true potential at an endeavor.

Here’s to fond memories, good friends, running fast and an exciting future.
