It’s not too late to join our preseason session! New wrestlers are always welcome and we’ll work with families to keep the cost fair when joining in the middle of a session.

This week’s schedule:
Advanced: Monday through Thursday, 6:00–8:00 PM
Beginners: Monday and Wednesday, 6:00–7:30 PM
Intermediate: Tuesday and Thursday, 6:00–8:00 PM

California Grapplers trains year-round and divides the year into four affordable sessions:
Folkstyle: November through March
Freestyle and Greco-Roman: April through June
Summer: Mid-June through August
Preseason: Mid-August through October

No matter when you’re ready to start, we want your wrestler to have the opportunity to join our wrestling family.

A great weekend of wrestling at the Preseason Kickoff Tournament hosted @kndwrestling at Sonora High School!..Here’s a quick interview with KND’s Coach Dom Jauregui and our very own Northview alumn and California Grapplers Head Coach, Collin Hayes. @collinhys

Coach Hayes and the entire @californiagrapplers staff have been doing an amazing job, recently leading our team to the championship at the always competitive Hammer Duals 12U Tournament.

California Grapplers Youth Wrestling Club is a year-round program training wrestlers in folkstyle, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling out of Northview High School in Covina, CA.

Congratulations to Ares Duarte on being featured as Telemundo Los Angeles’ Atleta de la Semana!

A California Triple Crown winner and one of our team’s strongest leaders, Ares recently helped the California Grapplers win the Hammer Duals. Competing as one of the younger wrestlers in the 12U division, he defeated older opponents and stepped up as a captain who kept the team focused, energized and moving forward.

Yesterday Max had the opportunity to compete in the team duals with @californiagrapplers

I’ll admit, it’s always a bittersweet feeling watching him put on a singlet with someone else’s name across it. Max is Threshold homegrown through and through, and we take so much pride in what he represents and where he comes from. But when the opportunity is with people we trust to genuinely have his best interest at heart, it makes saying yes a little easier. We know Coach @taylor.grimley and @collinhys have nothing but love and respect for Max, our family, and Threshold, and that means a lot to us. ❤️

Max went 2-2, with two other teams unfortunately not having anyone at his weight. He’s still adjusting to his current walk-around weight, and while there will be tournaments where he drops back down to where he’s most comfortable, yesterday he stepped in where his team needed him and wrestled his heart out.

He was a great addition to an already stacked group of athletes who battled all day. Cal Grapplers finished undefeated and brought home 1st place! 🥇

Proud of Max, proud of the way he competed, and always proud that no matter what singlet he’s wearing, his roots are Threshold. 🖤

A big first for California Grapplers! This Sunday, our club will compete for the first time as a 12U dual team at the Hammer Duals.

Thank you to all our families and everyone who helped fundraise and make this opportunity possible for our wrestlers.

We’re excited to represent California Grapplers as a team. Come out and support us at Capo Valley High School. Wrestling starts at 9:00 AM!

Great Saturday of wrestling at the World Team Training Center in Van Nuys! Shane, Stevie and Seth all stepped up, competed hard and represented the California Grapplers well.

Proud of these boys and proud of our coaches for continuing to put in the work. Big thank you to the World Team Training Center for hosting a great event and having us out.

Up next: Hammer Duals this Sunday at Capistrano Valley High School. Time to get back to work!
