Looking forward to meeting you all for the opening of the exhibition "Loopholes" curated by @perynbtl X @louisclais from @non.etoile 💙 Welcome to a few loopholes. After a first ramble from numerous lifts to never-ending corridors, you find yourself in some kind of a rule-free video game, a deserted city or an interior landscape.

🌙 ARCHIVE - Expanded Moving Image Practices Exhibition (2024-2025) This exhibition represents the culmination of a semester’s work for FILM 310 students. After several months of exhibition visits, readings, screenings, discussions, and practical assignments, Expanded Moving Image Practices presents the fruits of our labor in a group show. These diverse projects are the results of a research process, making the show experimental in structure. Projections, textile installations, youtube videos, and cathode ray tubes create a media environment of simultaneous specificity and convergence. These material supports are mediums for communication whilst also contributing sculpturally to the gallery space. Whilst each work shown here comes from a singular voice, these works also speak to the critical conversations we have had together over the course of the semester. The exhibition is then an image of discourse as well as a showcase of artistic and cultural production. Featured Artists: Horace Anderson Matthew Baccari Maya Luz Terence Berchman Kaia Capener Kimberly Fickerson Effie Gross Zara Abubakar Sofia Aviles Solana Cordon Jaxon Hammond Stoyan Kadiev Mariana Kayano Mayeni Kpenge Jacky Li Drupad Mudda Alex Nassar Quentin Renaud Brandon Tong Katharine Howell Kaitlin Mangan Karen Torento

Last day to discover Radu Jude's 'Sleep #2' at The Film Gallery in Paris. 👀 A dark Zen joke, Jude's entry into the field of gallery-based work is structured by contradiction and performs a perverse death rite. In his essay, artist-filmmaker @collinkluchman looks at the film and its installation as intertextual media objects. Observing the riddles, poetry, and other extra-textual materials, he works through Jude's irreverence and citational density as they mingle around Warhol's final resting place. Tap the link in our bio to read. 🔗 ___ #FilmsinFrame #RaduJude #AndyWarhol #Installation
