🎟️ COMMUNITY TICKETS FOR SOMEONE THAT NEEDS THEM

UPDATE: TWO WINNERS HAVE BEEN CONTACTED

We have two tickets to give away for the shows on December 4th (Asbury Park, NJ) and December 5th (Philadelphia, PA), and we’d like them to go to people who would genuinely love to be there, but simply can’t afford the ticket right now.

This isn’t a competition. We’re not looking for the funniest comments, the biggest fans or the best sob story. We want to give these to people who could use the night out and have the same experience we’ve had at Grayscale shows, but wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford it.

How to enter:
- Send us a DM telling us which show you’d like to attend, and tell us what getting this ticket would mean to you
- You DON’T need to share private financial information or prove your circumstances
- You can enter on behalf of a friend you’d want to come with you!

We will contact winners by next Thursday (October 8th), by a random draw among eligible entries (one entry per person).

PLEASE DON’T share sensitive personal information in your messages, but we’ll keep entries private and won’t share anything publicly. Also note we only give away 2 separate concert tickets (one per show). Transportation and accommodation are not included!

If you know someone who could use a night like this, feel free to send them this post <3
Please send love and thanks to @_stayannie for donating the December 5th ticket!

This one goes out to my closest friends
The ones who make me feel less alien
I do not think I would be here if not for them

I love you, but I chose The Maine UK tour has been such a blast. “Unhinged mutual devotion” sums up the friendships old and new, I wouldn’t trade any of you for the world. 💚

You kept me alive and I mean it 💚☘️
Sometimes a girl just needs to follow some of her favorite bands all over Europe, which is really just an excuse to hang out with all of her international friends (old and new) with the same kind of unhinged mutual devotion to music.

I decided last minute to go to the final show of the "I Love You, But… I Chose The Maine" tour in Manchester, so I could see my faves again and reunite with the best group of friends I've ever met at a concert (🩷). Music is such a powerful thing, it allowed me to create memories, visit new places, and meet people from all around the world through the years. I'd choose The Maine and Grayscale in every universe, great music and wonderful human beings. I'll miss this tour until the day I die 🖤

I don't even know how to put this trip into words yet.

Cologne, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, London and Manchester. Five cities, almost 1,200 miles from Rotterdam, countless hours on the road, trains, planes, too little sleep, way too much laughing and one very special person by my side through all of it: Lyla.

We didn't just travel almost 1,200 miles to see The Maine. We made a whole fucking adventure out of it. Every journey, every hotel room, every ridiculous moment, every “are we actually doing this?” conversation, every show and every mile in between is now part of one massive collection of memories that I'll probably never stop smiling about.

And then there's 8123. I knew we'd meet people, but I don't think either of us expected just how many incredible people we'd meet along the way. People who started as strangers and somehow ended up feeling like friends. Singing together, laughing together, hanging out before and after shows and making memories in cities we'd never have experienced this way otherwise. 8123 really is a family, and this trip made that feel more real than ever.

We also both absolutely loved seeing Greyscale open for The Maine. Discovering them along the way made these shows even more special, and we're definitely leaving this trip as fans.

Five cities. Almost 1,200 miles. So many shows, so many people, so many laughs and memories I'll carry with me for a very long time. And I'm so fucking glad I got to do every single mile of it with Lyla.

Thank you, The Maine, for giving us a reason to make all these memories. And thank you, 8123, for making every city feel a little bit like home.

What's another night on mars, with friends like ours, anywhere is home. ❤️
