This definitely wasn't the way I wanted to end the last chapter of my senior year but this is the way it is. Life isn't fair no matter what age you are, no matter how hard you work or how hard you try you're still going to get knocked down. But it's not how many times you get knocked down it's about how many times you get back up. This is the philosophy that I'm going to carry with me throughout this difficult time. I've come to realize that I will never run in a high school track meet ever again. I'll never get that bittersweet moment of running my last race on my home track. I'll never be able to ride on a bus with my teammates on a way to a meet again. I'll never be able to get out of a hard day of school and be able to relax and enjoy my practice and run with my teammates again. I'll never feel that anticipation and nervous feeling that you get when you toe the line for that one race that you've waited your whole High School career for. I know this isn't the end as I'll be running in college but this still hard to leave my high school career like this. I know this is all part of God's plan for me and I will continue to follow the plan and path that he has given me. This is because I know that there will be something much bigger on the other side of this and all this heartbreak, hard work, and pain will eventually pay off and amount to something much bigger. I will never forget all the memories that I have cherished throughout the past 4 years and I will never forget all the lessons that Coach B has taught me. Stay strong seniors God has a plan for all of us and it's bigger than we know. "Tough times don't last but Tough people do"- Coach B.
