#Boston has some incredible architecture but this is my favourite building in the entire city. Most people walk straight past it. It’s unapologetically Brutalist. Just raw concrete, extraordinary proportions and one of the strongest architectural silhouettes I’ve ever seen. What I love most is that it doesn’t try to be liked. The building frames itself, wears its structure proudly, and proves that repetition, shadow and proportion can be far more beautiful than expensive materials. The more time you spend looking at it, the better it gets. Architecture doesn’t always need to make you comfortable.
