A whole late-Joseon performance fits inside a painting only 28.2 × 35.6 cm.

Shin Yun-bok’s Double Sword Dance shows a powerful nobleman watching a sword dance performed by gisaeng and accompanied by Jangakwon musicians. With almost no background, the placement and movement of the figures carry the scene.

I reinterpreted that composition as a 10-second AI video.

Original art, just a cleaner background. 💜

Right: the original photo.
Left: I used AI only to clean up the background.
The coloring is still 100% my own. 🎨
I’m just experimenting with AI here and there to present my work a little cleaner.
Same art. Same coloring. Just less clutter. 💜

Not done yet....
Still in progresss.. 😉

What do you think?

Few days ago, a graduating 5th grade girl handed me this little note:
"Give this to a teacher or staff member who is your role model."
Then she gave it to me and asked me to sign her yearbook.
I couldn't stop the tears.
I was overwhelmed with gratitude, and my heart ached at the same time.
A substitute teacher is often seen as "just a sub"—someone temporary, someone easily forgotten. So hearing that I was her role model felt almost unbelievable.
Maybe... just maybe... I'm doing something right.
Maybe the small things I do every day—the smiles, the listening, the kindness, the simply showing up—really do matter.
Today, a little girl reminded me that we never truly know the impact we have on someone else's life. ❤️
Thank you, sweet girl. I will never forget this moment. 🍎📚❤️

I initially started with #fabercastellalbrechtdürer.. then I wanted to try with my iPad. It was not that easy to do and took me forever~ but I really enjoyed coloring this page with procreate. 😉🙈
