@colorme.cha is your girl if you have stubborn, coarse hair like I do! I’m so glad I found her because I always leave her salon feeling so beautiful 😍 & I know I’m not the only one so hurry & get on her books! She’s the queen of layers & bouncy blowouts in somers point, nj.

💇‍♀️ I went lighter for the last month of summer & I can’t wait to go back for a fall refresh. 🤎😆

Autumn starts tomorrow, and the season is about to write its story. Is your hair ready for the fall chapter?

It’s time for our locks to get moodier, richer, and a little more dramatic. The colors are all about depth and dimension just like the changing leaves. Blondes are melting into honey, maple gold, and buttered caramel. Brunettes are slipping into espresso, truffle, and dark chocolate. Glossy hair that looks like velvet. And the reds are turning a sultry merlot, copper, and warm burnt cinnamon.

The cuts are romantical and taking on a movement you’d expect in an autumn tale. Long hair is cascading into celestial Halo Layers that frame the face ready for the (much earlier) golden hour glow. Then there are the Whimsy Curls, full of bounce, twisting and turning like a Shakespearean moment, carrying their own little plotline. The Shag returns looking airy and lived-in with just enough mischief to catch second glances. The Sculpted Bob is intentional in shape and soft in touch, a perfect balance of lines and loveliness.

And the men are stepping into their own autumn story too. The French Crop arrives with that brooding, leading-man energy. The Textured Wiff is tousled just enough to feel charming and poetic. The Soft Mullet, alluring and more refined than its rebellious past. The Bro Flow returns as the season’s romantic, sweeping in as a storybook hero.

Some chapters of this upcoming season hold a little mystery, but it’s no mystery where to get your hair done. I’ve rounded up 20 looks from 20 salons who are ready to help you write the next page.
