Love hosting a party 🥳🥳

Louise 5 years ago could have only dreamt of having the confidence to wear a short suit, with blonde (rachel from friends) hair, to speak in front of room full of prolific men and women for a full 30 minutes about taste making and also to have the opportunity to put my name to so many tremendous things.

Laughing now at the boy I knew when we were teenagers who got ‘if you can dream it you can do it’ tattooed across his chest and we all smirked at the time but now I’m kinda into it… if you can dream it you CAN DO IT. He knew what was up.

I have to say I’ve had the most amazing week this week and I am choosing to welcome in all this positive new moon energy like a beacon of bright white life. I feel so light and airy and like I’m skipping through life. It makes for a welcome change. For anyone going through a hard time right now I promise the tide will change again. Remember there was a time when your mind was innocent and peaceful and happy. (I did a lot of reflecting on this in my soundbath session this afternoon). So many options for healing and recovery, if you’re panicking you’re exhausting them all, you’re not, don’t give up. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ (that was THE advice I needed when my MH was on the floor) xxxx

Thank you to everyone who made this happen you know who you are.

Turns out I’m an Autumn girly!@jigsaw.marketharborough 🍂🧡🤎

This was my first time having a colour analysis & wow, did I have it all wrong. I was able to see what colours suits my skin tone & what colours I NEED to stay away from! Thank you @colourconviction 🙊🫶🏽

I absolutely loved the Jigsaw collection, so many luxury pieces & they are definitely ready for winter fashion! 😍

One thing about me… I will turn “I’m just popping out” into a full itinerary 😭😂

Started the day very dramatically in red at the Valentino Vendetta pop-up ❤️- fragrance, that gorgeous vintage car, the whole mood.

Then somehow ended up at the ASUS Zenbook 14 pop-up playing with colour, tech and creating an AI mood board… and got to catch up with the lovely @colourconviction again! Such a sweetheart and such a vibe! When fashionistas get together , so naturally the conversation always ends up back at colour, clothes and what works with what 😁🎨.

Basically: fragrance, fashion, colour, tech and a lot of wandering around London.

I really do leave home for one thing and come back with a whole Reel. 😂✨

Is your season Winter? ❄️

If yes, you need a pop of pink in your wardrobe this Autumn/Winter 🩷 @colourconviction recommends Jigsaw’s best-selling Elon, 100% cloud cashmere in hot pink!

✨ Loved for its ultra-feminine silhouette with a minimal rolled neckline and fluted cuffs, this wardrobe signature highlights the sumptuous, lofty feel of Cloud cashmere which has been knitted off gauge.

Eldon is the perfect transitional layer for autumn and beyond, the perfect partner? Jigsaw’s 100% leather mini skirt (and it has pockets!) with a pair of boots!

A stunning combo for cooler days 🍂 Which season do you want to see next?

a month of saying yes changed more than my calendar. ✨

watching art. making art. celebrating art. being made into art and later rediscovering the art of becoming a beginner again…

September took me from watching @willowsmith perform and experiencing *For Colored Girls* at @theyardtheatre to stepping inside @esdevlin’s world at the @designmuseum, sitting for a portrait and finally discovering my colour palette.

I scripted, shot and featured in a @raybanmeta campaign about learning how to skate, which became live documentation of me being humbled by concrete. 🥲

I celebrated creative milestones, shared pizza with @helenachristensen and somehow survived MCing one of my closest friend’s weddings with unrestricted access to a microphone 😏

It’s true, some yeses put you in exciting rooms but others ask you to build the room yourself and invite people in well before you feel ready to.

Starting this series was one of those.

September stretched me, inspired me and absolutely exhausted me. So I’m taking one more important lesson into October: saying no can also be a yes to yourself.

The curiosity is still here. I’m just learning to leave enough of myself to follow it.

What did you say yes to this month?

Ellie in Bloom is 6 months old! 🎉🎉🎉

I started Ellie in Bloom after years of obsessing over colour and style, and 6 months later I can’t believe how far my business has come.

There is so much joy in helping others find their best colours and embrace their own unique style, and I am very blessed to be able to share this with others.

Whether you have been here from the start, or have found me recently, I am so grateful you are here xxx

Hello again! I’m back!

Hope you all had a brilliant summer and are settling back in to September routines ok 😊.

Just thought I’d share some highs and some lows since I was last on here after a long and hot summer!

I’ve been so fortunate to have been kept busy by many of you coming back to me for second, third, fourth (!) times.
Not only that but recommending me to your friends and families too, so once again I just want to say a big Thank You to you all!! You’re the best! 🥰
