Here's a look at the flat lino print for the Halloween collab i did with @keithvlahakis @coloursofyousa for the last Drink and Draw! It was a super fun project and I'm so happy with how the final poster turned out 🦇🦇

I did the bat sketch and Keith added his amazing typography! After cutting the lino, I sent the scan back to him and he put the final poster together with the stunning red background!

Tonight is the double feature of Drink and Draw - Sketch and Scream! The posters came out so damn well! Thanks to the most epic collab partner @keithvlahakis. This is our third collaborative piece and we have so many projects being cooked up in the Black Sun Studios Lab. Here are some process pics - from layout scamps and thumbnails, to finalizing the layout (the super fun ridiculous silly part) and getting down to the dirty (yet awesome) work of inking and then scanning, cleaning up and colouring in photoshop. Went pretty nasty and gnarly with the inking.
Thank you to @coloursofyousa @keithvlahakis @the_electric_sa for hosting the event. And double devil horns to the mega talented co-headliner @talitoken - your linocut poster is beyond epic! Hand rendered art for the win!
See you ghouls and geeks tonight!
