April 27 - International Design Day

I’ve always believed that while design is deeply personal, it is also a shared language. To mark the occasion, I wanted to hear from the people who inspire me every day.

I reached out to a wonderful group of designers whose work I admire and asked them one simple, yet meaningful question:

What is one thing a room should never lack?

The answers were as diverse and beautiful as the spaces they create. I wanted to share them all together, exactly as they came: different voices, different priorities, one shared love for spaces that feel right.

Whether you’re looking for a bit of soul or a practical tip, there is so much wisdom in these words. 🤍

A huge thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts on design wisdom with me. I’m honored to be part of this creative community.

Swipe through to explore them all. There is never just one right answer in design.
