I went to my first market hosted by @littleheartsmarketsca today: Cider N’ Sweaters at @ravinevineyard , and it was such a good one. 🍂

As you guys know, I go to a lot of markets. I love supporting local, and through my own small business history and my work in social media, I’ve gotten to know so many vendors. I love seeing them, cheering them on and, of course, capturing a few candid moments along the way.

When you build those relationships, you hear the honest details: the good, the bad and everything in between. Over time, I’ve learned which markets I’m excited to come back to and which ones I’ll pass on.

And guys, I mean this: this is the first market I’ve been to where every single person I spoke with had glowing things to say. No “it was good, but…” Just rave reviews all around. That says a lot.

Little Hearts Markets are run by friends Ashley and Miranda. I’ve never met Ashley, and I only recently met Miranda when I bought a shirt from her… okay, three shirts. 🙈…So this isn’t a fluff piece because we’re besties. These two women put in the work, and it shows.

Ravine was the perfect fall setting, with photo spots everywhere, vendors both inside and out, live music, pizza, wine and cider. There were so many familiar faces, and the weather couldn’t have been better.

I first met Colton years ago when he was just 9 years old, starting out on his entrepreneurial journey. Fast forward to today, and here he is as a young teen still showing up at markets, growing his business, and chasing his dreams! 🙌

This time, Ember got to meet him too! ❤️

As a small business owner, there’s something so special about seeing the next generation of entrepreneurs putting themselves out there, working hard, and doing what they love.

September in Niagara doesn’t slow down — it just gets a little cozier.

I pulled together everything worth knowing about this month, swipe through for the full lineup: Marshville Heritage Festival kicking off the long weekend, a demolition derby at Merrittville, a free sports day for the girls, a full weekend of live music at Misty City, two of my favourite local markets, and a wellness afternoon that might be exactly the reset you need.
