Our 1st phone call after getting engaged was to Colton’s mom🤍

A couple months ago Colton’s family was involved in a car accident resulting in his dad’s passing and his mom’s long road to recovery in rehab.

From the first time I met them, they made clear that they were always going to be some of our biggest supporters. They love loudly and care deeply. It’s a huge part of their character, and I know many people can attest to it.

So, this phone call meant everything to us. Though their absence is certainly felt during these times, I find joy that we got to witness their example of marriage, and we will forever treasure their love and wisdom.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11✝️

I thank God for this amazing summer! Without a doubt, it has been the best summer of my life. Getting to spend it at FUGE alongside so many strong believers who shared the same heart for serving others was an incredible blessing.

I’m so thankful for this team, for the unity we shared, and for every student we had the privilege to serve. Every conversation, every laugh, every challenge, and every moment reminded me of God’s faithfulness.

To my FUGE family: I love each and every one of you. Thank you for making this summer so unforgettable. I’ll be praying for all of you and can’t wait to see how God continues to work in your lives.

Thank You, God, for this team, for every student, and for allowing us to be a small part of what You were doing this summer.

Year 1 ✅
Now it’s time for Year 2. I’m excited to see what God has in store. 🙌❤️

“And I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom. For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling, and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.”

“Whatever you do, do it from the heart, as something done for the Lord and not for people” - Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭23‬ ‭

God has been so faithful this summer. I’m so thankful for every conversation, every laugh, every challenge, and every person around me. Wouldn’t trade this team for anything. 🤍
