When I first started running back in elementary school, I didn't know what it would mean to me today, but I'm so glad I started. Thanks to running, I've gone places, met people, and learned lessons that I never would have been able to if it weren't for this deeply humbling sport. The most important thing I've learned along the way is that the goal should never be about the result at the finish line, it should be about the journey that gets you there. I can't thank my coaches and teamates enough for the endless support I've received while running for Dakota. The opportunities that my coaches have given me are truly special, and I know that I'll have them in my corner for the rest of my life. For my teamates, I can't believe it's over, but I'm beyond grateful for it happening; the long runs at paint creek, morning workouts in the summer, and late nights after meets. These experiences with my team hold memories that will last me a lifetime. And last but certainly not least, I have to thank my Mom and Dad for being my foundation through these 10 years of running. They're my number 1 fans, and I'm gonna miss looking up and seeing them in the stands. I truly appreciate everyone's love and support. I will never forget the teams I've been so lucky to be apart of. Thank you lord for the blessings that you've given me, and path that you have guided me through and continue to guide me through. I cant wait for the next chapter.
