An Evening in Silk - Chrome release.

When I’d first thought of extending silk it came to me in the form of an event. One of my favorite things to do with art is to create spaces. May that be digital, momentary and best of all physical. Really, Chrome began with the idea of this, transforming until the culmination of it all birthed an Evening in Silk.

Like much of my year and if you aren’t aware by now
Chrome = Protection. I’ve allowed this night to be mine from the night of until now. October 17th, 2025. A month ago we enjoyed what was ultimately a way for me to celebrate my small wins.

Chrome is much more than a small win to me. Art is more than a small win. Winning is more than winning. There is a deepness, like a tree sprouting its roots all over.

As an audience, you will never truly be able to connect all of its intrepid wiring but trust me when I say I poured everything I am into this collection. As I’ve done before and will continue to do so. Reminder that AI was not used in the process, creation or execution.

Every line handwritten, revised and worded from my heart.
The sculpture DIY’d
Photography and video work, storyboarded, filmed and edited entirely by yours truly.

So gifting myself and those I love with a moment was my honor. To my beautiful guests. Thank you for coming this was also for you. Even those who could not make it or wish they were there, know I feel your support from afar. I could not have done it without those who shared conversations that made me confident about its nature. I appreciate you all beyond words. Thank you for returning love. And may chrome keep you protected as it has for me.
