… it never flew, but it gave others the courage to chase the sky and even the courage to chase love. Not every dream is for you to rise with. Sometimes it’s the runway for someone else. ✨

I have a very dear friend ❤️ who has been a hero to countless young people. Long before she became a mother, she was a mother figure to many young boys, nurturing, guiding, and raising them as if they were her own. She’s helped shape lives, given hope to the hopeless, and stood in the gap for families in need. But now that she has her own child, the question arises: who is standing in the gap for her?

Parenting has never been a solo endeavor. It is a collective responsibility, a tapestry woven by a community. Yet, too often, we assume our heroes are invincible, forgetting that even the strongest need shoulders to lean on. Who supports the ones who carry everyone else?

This makes me wonder: Why do we wait until our heroes are weary or gone before we acknowledge their impact?

Why do we only speak of their greatness in hindsight, when their battles have already been fought in silence?

Giving our heroes their flowers shouldn’t be about words alone; it’s about action. It’s about showing up for them in the small, consistent ways that remind them they are not alone.

So I leave you with this:

Who stands for the heroes when they need a hero?

And what would it look like if we all decided to be that person for someone today?

Living by “Meraki” means pouring my heart into everything i do. Whether it’s being a dad, a husband, church moments, or serving people with @hxp.humanitarianexperience and @mavenheart – each move is filled with soul, creativity, and love 🧡.
Try it, and you will find yourself creating beauty in everything you touch.

As we gear up for summer 2024✨, there’s this strong vibe pulling within me. I can smell an epic summer!🥰 @hxp.humanitarianexperience Builders heading to Africa – something big’s cooking! 🤩
I get goosebumps thinking about it, my heart race with excitement and anticipation😍.

Finally, we @mavenheart are giving hope to children through one meal a day. Give https://gofund.me/4c964c76 as your spirit directs, be that beacon of hope. With less than $1, you do more than put food on the table for a kid but also give them hope for a brighter future.

I count on you ❤️

Grateful for the chance to impact young minds with @globalleadersf . Huge shoutout to @trumponn for catching these deep moments. Alongside @george_ashiagbor and @comas.arts 🙏🏾💯
