Just want to take the time to thank everyone who showed up for my girl last week. They limited us in numbers/how many could attend, but so many people helped Dejah and my family get her to this point. You all know who you are. Being in a different state and having family and friends step in to look after Dejah when we couldn’t...l could never express how much I appreciate all of you for loving and caring for my baby, showing up, stepping in, taking care of her, feeding/housing her (Mike and Nita ...and she can EAT!), not hesitating to go
see about her or check in to make sure she was good when I called from Louisiana (Necie). Thanks to our family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins) near and far who have supported her throughout her college career and life in general. We are truly thankful for you. Thanks to her friends here and there who have been there for her throughout her life, college struggles, good time, bad times, up and downs... thank you for being good and kind to my baby. She has some AMAZING friends and it warms my heart to know you guys have been there, loving her, showing up for her through the years. You will always have a special place in my heart, forever. I’m tearing up as l type this because I am sooooo very thankful for our village/HER village! God has been soooo Good! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU ALL! WE LOVE YOU! 🙏🏽❤️
