Last Wednesday was a movie @mollymaguiresballard open mic presented by @ballard_comedy_takeout. The vibes were top notch, the lineup was stacked and the pops of laughter were tremendous per usual. With 30 comedians taking the stage and the feature @yogipaliwal putting on a standup masterclass, it made for an unforgettable night. We keep the good times rolling tonight with @probablynothealthy as our feature bringing his trademark delivery and comedy style and putting on for the @stonedgooseproductions squad. Come enjoy delicious food from @mcbridespnw, pour yourself some @guinness, and sit back for a night full of guffaw, goofs, and stage time. Signups start at 8:30, show at 9:00. Yours truly will be hosting and keeping the energy lively. See ya’ll there!!

What a night it was last Wednesday. With 37 comedians taking the stage we had our biggest night @mollymaguiresballard open mic presented by @ballard_comedy_takeout thus far and our feature of the night @slopthetrough put on a standup clinic for us to enjoy and learn from. I almost missed my literail home since we did 3 hrs of comedy but it was totally worth it since the energy from the audience was on 10 the whole night. Let’s keep the good times rolling and the @guinness pouring tonight. We yet again have a banger feature for you @dan_durrrr_son who has headlined @tacomacomedyclub and just recently performed at @bumbershoot. @mcbridespnw will be serving the most delicious food to keep us satisfied. Signups start at 8:30 and show starts at 9 per usual. Yours truly will be hosting and keeping the night lively. With the chilly weather upon us I’m expecting a packed room and great energy. See ya’ll there tonight!!

I sound like a broken record saying it every week but we easily had our best night of comedy @mollymaguiresballard open mic presented by @ballard_comedy_takeout thus far. We had 19 comedians do full 5 minute sets each and our feature of the night @allirealfunnyaf had people dying of laughter the whole time she was on stage. We started at 9 and ended at 11:30 and the audience was vivacious the whole time up until the last comedian and the place was packed. It’s been privilege to host the hottest Wednesday comedy room in the city and next week we keep the good times rolling with the hilarious @robertpinner as our feature.

Come see what the hype is all the about every Wednesday at 9 pm. I guarantee you will have a memorable night of laughs. See ya’ll next week!

What a night it was at @ballard_mandarin open mic last Thursday presented by @ballard_comedy_takeout. The feature of the night @sierrainseattle owned the stage and crushed her set. The place was packed to say farewell to her and all the comedians crushed it as well. It was easily the most packed I have seen that room as a host. We all love you and will miss you @sierrainseattle. You will do amazing with whatever you put your mind to.

Easily our best night at @mollymaguiresballard. I know I say that every week but tonight was truly the best night. The comedic talents that blessed us were top notch, the feature of the night @hartongmina was unbelievable and energy from audience was on a high level all night. We did almost 3 hrs of comedy and 28 comedians got stage time and everyone got to do full 5 minute sets. We will keep the good times rolling with our feature @probablynothealthy next week. See ya’ll next Wednesday at 9 pm. I’ll be hosting per usual and @ballard_comedy_takeout will be producing. Come experience the hottest Wednesday comedy room in the city.

Thanks so much to everyone who joined us last night for our final marathon show at Club Comedy Seattle. Chris and I really appreciate your presence, your kind words, and all the love the comedy community has shown us over the last 5 years. We are proud of all of the amazing comics who have made a home at our club and we can’t wait to see all of you continue to push forward in achieving your dreams.
As we continue to figure out what will happen next for us and the space in the coming weeks, we are excited to begin a new chapter for ourselves that includes the possibility of some actual free time here and there. Of course I will continue to be out there working as a comic as my schedule will be free in a way that it hasn’t in more than a decade. I’m open to the possibility of change. I’m not going anywhere that I know of, so if you want to be in touch, feel free to reach out.
I have great confidence in many of you as you continue on your comedy journey. I genuinely hope that you truly can find the path to the center of you and make people fall off the chairs laughing every time. I’m eternally grateful for the wonderful friendships I have made so far on my comedy journey, and for all of the great memories we have made together.
Here’s some genuine advice that I hope you will hear. Please always go with kindness. If there is one thing as a person of a certain age I could point to that has helped me move forward in achieving any goal I have ever set for myself, it’s just simple kindness. Of course there will always be folks who prove they don’t deserve your kindness, but please start with kindness as a rule with other people. It will get you everywhere.
The last thing I will say for today is please love yourself. If you want to truly show love to others, you have to first find a way to show love to yourself. It’s just that simple. ❤️

(Special Thanks to @superxack for capturing some nice shots of me on stage opening the show.)
