There’s a reason NFL scouts and college recruiters sit across from you in your living room. Talent gets you in the room. Belief is what they’re buying.

I had seasons with average stuff and full belief, and the results followed. I had seasons where I threw as hard as humanly possible, and without belief, none of it mattered.

You are the product. Stack days, build the proof, and believe in it.

Your kids aren’t learning from what you tell them. They’re learning from what you do.

How you handle stress. How you treat your body. Whether you keep promises to yourself.

They’re watching all of it.

The good news? The story isn’t finished. Every day you show up is a new chapter.

Send this to a dad who’s writing a good one.

Your son is learning what a man looks like by watching you every single day. Make sure he’s seeing strength, discipline, and love.

Tag a boy dad who leads by example.👇

There's a version of you your kids haven't met yet.

Not because he's gone. Because you've been stuck on autopilot.

Wake up. Work. Come home. Crash. Repeat.

That's not living. That's surviving.

You used to laugh more. Move with purpose. Have energy left at the end of the day.

Now you're running on fumes, showing up for everyone but yourself.

This isn't about six-pack abs.

It's about being the kind of dad your kids are proud to follow.

If it feels like something's missing, it is.

But it's not too late to get it back.

Send this to a dad who needs to hear it.

Apologizing to your kids can feel uncomfortable, especially when nobody ever modeled it for you. So can slowing down when you’re frustrated, admitting when your reaction was wrong, and choosing words that make them feel safe enough to be honest with you.

A lot of us entered fatherhood knowing what we wanted to do differently, but not always knowing how. We’re trying to give our children the patience, reassurance and accountability we may not have experienced ourselves.

I’m learning those things as I go. I don’t always handle every moment the way I wish I had, but I’m realizing that being a good dad doesn’t mean never getting it wrong. It means being humble enough to come back, apologize and repair what happened.

Every time we do that, we teach our kids that mistakes don’t have to create distance. We show them that love can take responsibility, conversations can be repaired and strength doesn’t require pretending we’re always right.

We may not have been given the blueprint, but we still get to build a better one for our children.

What’s one thing you’re intentionally trying to do differently as a dad?

In light of opening night & a nice extension, here’s a clip from our group workout & dad chat with @hunterhenry .

Looking forward to the next one. I love this take on being a good dad.

Being a dad is playing Barbies, having tea parties, and doing whatever makes them smile. One day I know I’ll miss these moments. So for now, I’m soaking it all in.

The little moments are really the big moments. 💕

This was the moment severe stomach cramps began threatening my race at the Anchor Down 12-Hour Ultramarathon.

The heat was relentless, so my crew doused me with water every time I completed another loop. When the stomach pain started, they immediately began asking questions, monitoring my salt and nutrition, keeping me cool and helping me recover.

Eventually, the pain became so severe that I dropped from near the front of the race to somewhere around seventh through tenth place. With almost nine hours remaining, winning seemed unlikely.

But this moment didn’t define my ultramarathon. How we responded did.

My job was to keep running. My crew handled everything else. Their attention, encouragement and problem-solving helped me recover one loop at a time. Hours later, I caught the leader and finished with 62.65 miles, reaching 100K and earning my first ultramarathon victory.

Ultrarunning may look like an individual sport, but I never would have won this race alone.
