Hallo liebe FLINTA*s 🤍

Resonant Echoes: An experimental Sound Lab
This performance has a different meaning to me than I initially anticipated.
But let me explain from the beginning.
I will use TouchMe by @playtronica , a musical instrument that turns skin, water and plants into sound. I adore the potential of this device to explore themes of embodiment and connection.
My intention was to create a profound sensory journey by intertwining touch and sound with poetry, using also some of the linguistic tools of hypnosis (did you know that I was a professional hypno-dom!natr!x?? It was before I discovered theatre... But that's another story).
However, timing issues and technical uncertainties made it so that until the very last minute I will not know if I will be able to add the spoken part to the performance.
My performance was focused on connection, and this setback made me feel very disconnected… For this reason, I was worried that I would not be able to perform. I don’t have one single fake fiber in my body, so I feared that I would not be able to express something that I wasn’t feeling.
But then an open-heart discussion with @mal_o_v_e made me feel seen and understood. Not only did it make me feel connected again, but it also made me feel brave enough to stand in front of an audience and experiment with an improvised performance.
So here you have the behind the scenes.
Now, if you also want to see the performance, come by @locke20359 this Sunday, July 28th, between 13.00 and 14.00.
This is part of @common.magma , a monthly event that centers nature, humanity and technology. The entry is free, and the event runs from 11am to 10pm, featuring a broad variety of artists: from music to food to photos to perfumes, your senses will be thrilled!

Craft Your Own Botanical Perfume Session 🌿✨

Join us for a unique multi-sensory consultation where you’ll have the chance to explore the art of botanical perfumery. During this session, an experienced aromatherapist and natural perfumer will craft a personalized perfume for you, designed to be both a personal fragrance and a medicinal remedy for your current concerns. This experience draws inspiration from ancient Egyptian perfumery, a time when perfumes and medicine were one and the same.

In this immersive experience, you will come into contact with a variety of essential oils, tinctures, and raw materials. We will explore your olfactory and emotional responses to these scents. Based on your unique responses, a customized perfume will be crafted to represent you and address your specific needs.
