BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'. TAMPA. Day 1.

Last time I saw all seven of them together was in Paris of 2019. Seven years later, I am seeing them performing together at the beginning of their new tour since returning from military enlistment, and in another continent. 🤯 It feels like so much has changed since, yet so little at the same time. I guess we're both living in the 2.0 version of our lives. 😎

And always fun to see my fellow Applemys! 🍎

$The second annual Run BTS 5k is in the books! Despite this being the second year, I was just as unsure as the first as to how participants would feel, and if they’d even show- especially once it started to rain! It was a wet Sunday in NYC but it turns out even the rain can’t dampen ARMY’s spirits! Trying to maximize the amount going to charity means it was a low-budget affair, but with the energy of this group, you’d never know it. This year’s in-person turnout was nearly triple last year’s (only a fraction of the crowd is in the photos- it was impossible to get everyone!) and the cheering didn’t stop until the last runner crossed the finish line. I am so thrilled to announce this year’s event raised over $16,000 for @heartofdinner !! Over $2,000 came from merch sales alone, and registration donations totaled just under $14,000. This is such an incredible amount, I am blown away by what this community is capable of. Your donations will be put to extremely good use to help care for our Asian elders in NYC. Thank you so much to all of our participants for your enthusiastic support and limitless generosity! Between the NYC and virtual events, we had 1,000 participants from 46/50 states (plus DC and Puerto Rico) and more than 20 countries. It is still a surprise to me that this idea has connected with so many people from all around the world. ARMY is truly an unstoppable force! Special thanks to our team of volunteers who were absolutely crucial in making the NYC event run so smoothly. I couldn’t have don’t it without you and I appreciate you all more than you know! And a final thank you to @bts.bighitofficial, the reason for the season. I am a deeply introverted person who does not like being looked at or spoken to, yet I have now stood in front of crowds, given speeches and led fan chants on multiple occasions, and I’m looking forward to doing it all again. I’ve been an obsessive music fan for as long as I can remember, yet never in my life has an artist so motivated me towards personal growth. I am so lucky to have found you and the community you’ve inspired. 진 잘 왔어! 방탄소년단 11번째 생일 축하합니다! 아미 감사합니다! 다시 함께 달릴 날을 기다리며! 🩵🌸💜 #runbts5k #bts #btsarmy #festa2024$
