Happy one-year anniversary, Fit for Fiction!!! 🎉 I am beyond proud of the community we built this year. You all trained like a main character through 16 book genres, trying 14 kinds of workouts with creative studios all around the Greater Boston Area. We were featured in 4 press outlets, including @bostonglobe and CBS’s @wbztv. We received 67 free books courtesy of @penguinusa, highlighting the talent of 9 amazing authors. And we made more bracelets than I am able to count. I can’t express how grateful I am to have met every single one of you. You all broke out of your comfort zones and tried new, hard things all year long. You’re as powerful as you are whimsical, and I love you for it. Thanks for joining me on this literary fitness journey, and cheers to a bigger, better, and nerdier year 2 đŸ„‚ #fitforfiction #trainlikeamaincharacter #fantasyfitness #bookworm #boston

As we head into another Fall season, we’re taking a moment to look back at a summer full of opera, circus, new friends, beautiful spaces, and lots of unexpected adventures! We welcomed warmer weather with Flowers & Opera in Brookline and at the newly unveiled Allstonway and celebrated our 5th year supporting the Brookline Food Pantry. We shared memorable meals and music with new friends at Little Dipper Farm, and took Arias Aloft on tour with Chromatic to deCordova Sculpture Park and New England Botanic Garden. We even brought Arias Aloft to Boston’s CommonStage before Commonwealth Shakespeare’s 30th anniversary performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. We kicked off the new school year with our first collaboration with Little Songbook Opera, UnTapped Adventures in Our Little Songbook, and wrapped up the summer with Arias Aloft back at the Allstonway. Thank you to everyone who made this summer so memorable. We loved sharing it with you, and we’d love to hear about your favorite moments, too! GIVEAWAY! Tell us your favorite Opera Untapped summer memory in the comments, send us a DM, or email info@operauntapped.com by October 30 for a chance to win a pair of free tickets to our fan favorite Drunk Opera History: Messiah Sing. Join us at The Burren in Somerville on December 12, 2026, from 11:30am–2pm for an afternoon of holiday music, history, and a little drinking along the way. Thanks to @capturedexposure for recording all of the magical moments!

Baby first cross country trip. I saw 6 Shows, stopped in 12 Cities, 2 museums, and took almost no pictures. Hell of an adventure. 1. Sandy & Highland UT; to stay with my wonderful Aunt Shellie after getting back from Poland. She’s the best person to spend time with right before a cross country, she took fantastic care of my darling car and me all set up for the most fantastic trip. Saying goodbye to my home of 18 years. 2. Cedar City; to stay with my dear friend Carleen, and to get coffee from my favorite place in the whole world. @lizzieandlolas And I had the absolute pleasure of seeing dozens of friends @utahshakespeare in Hamlet, Twelfth Night, Something Rotten, & See How They Run (heartbroken that I only saw the last bit of Troilus and Cressida). 3. Koosharem; To say goodbye to my pony. More on this later. My heart aches. 4. Colorado; @elizabethharlen is an absolute gem. You should have seen the gorgeous bed she made up for me, and the incredibly yummy soup she made. What an incredible hostess and friend💜 5. Kansas City; solid mid way point. Kind of. 6. St Louis; Had the honor of stopping by @stlshakesfest and had the most lovely chat with their artistic director. Thanks to his recommendation, I went to the Saint Louis Art Museum and found myself absolutely entranced. I even made a stop by the park where they perform, and was reminded how important the skill of projection is lol 7. Cincinnati; I was so lucky to catch Cincinnati Shakes production of Dogberry and Verges are Scared and almost peed my pants. Mike and Alex were so sweet in inviting me out after the show and I had an absolute ball. I also had the lovely opportunity to stop by @cincyplay and got to check out their incredible new theater 💜💜 Oh, and I had the most incredible fried chicken (thanks Mike for the rec😄) 8. Pennslyvia: One of my long days- I drove straight to @pashakespeare to see the fantastic @geoffreykent in their production of Coriolanus. After 5 hours of sleep and a 9 hour drive, I still was invested in every minute of the show. What great talent. 9. Boston!! To split the time staying with my wonderful family for a bit, and to stay with my dear friends @rilyn_celeste &

ACTORS FROM THE LONDON STAGE make a triumphant return to Wellesley College! Thursday, September 17 at 7pm Friday, September 18 at 7pm Saturday, September 19 at 7pm Diana Chapman Walsh Alumnae Hall Auditorium Wellesley College Theatre invites the general public and campus community to FREE performances of Shakespeare's beloved Much Ado About Nothing! The Actors From The London Stage (AFTLS) present Much Ado About Nothing in a unique actor-driven production, with just 5 actors and minimal tech, featuring Pamela Flanagan, Grace Lilley, Chenise Lynette, Hayden Mampasi, and Alex Phelps. Much Ado About Nothing is one of Shakespeare's most imaginative and exuberant comedies, contrasting two pairs of lovers in a witty and suspenseful battle of the sexes. Attracted to each other, the maddeningly skeptical Beatrice and Benedick are dead-locked in a lively war of words until their friends hatch a plot to unite them. The mutually devoted Hero and Claudio, on the other hand, all too quickly fall victim to a malicious plot to part them. Near-fatal complications ensue, but with the help of the hilarious Constable Dogberry and his confederates, the lovers are ultimately united. About AFTLS: Actors From The London Stage was founded in 1975 at the University of California, Santa Barbara, by Professor Homer “Murph” Swander and the renowned stage & screen actor Sir Patrick Stewart. One of the oldest established touring Shakespeare companies in the world, the AFTLS company ethos and mission is simplicity at its finest. Five actors take the stage, with minimal props and costumes, and direct themselves in a performance of a complete Shakespeare play, with each actor portraying multiple roles. Coming from such prestigious companies as the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre of Great Britain and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, these classically trained actors are equally dedicated to presenting first-rate professional performances, and to working with students to bring Shakespeare’s work alive. Alongside free public performances, the company of five actors will lead classes and workshops throughout the residency week.
