Just like last year, one of our wonderful artists @communityinprint has designed a gorgeous bullet journal to help you stay organised through 2027! 🐝

The £16 journals can now be pre-ordered through our website queeroutloud.com/products/bullet-journal-community-in-print (🔗 in our bio!)

The journal includes: goal setting pages, a monthly calendar spread, a comfortable 4 days per page design and even a mood tracker to keep you feeling grounded all year 🌼

Collection from our shop at the Plot or at Sappho's at a later date - we will also be buying some extra wholesale to sell at upcoming markets and in our shop, but pre-orders really help us all to better estimate the numbers, so don't hesitate to get yours (or drop us a comment/DM if you wanna get one in the near future!!!)

Introducing: my favourite merch everrr!

I've sold these 14% caps at gigs over the past few weeks and they've gone like hot cakes so I've only got 4 of them left! But they're on my Bandcamp now (link in bio) if you'd like to get yours and be part of the club. They are - you guessed it - £14. 🐦

They make a great conversation starter, or a subtle way to come out, but most importantly - they just look really good. Embroidery by @feedmethread.

You can also get these lovely stickers if you fancy new decor for your phone case or laptop or wherever. Designed by my pal @devontippingdesigns (of @communityinprint).

Thank you so much for your support for 14% so far, I feel like a proud parent watching it fly the nest and make friends 💛

CASE STUDY: Community in Print

Reads about how innovative small grants scheme supported Devon Tipping in testing out community workshops ideas that led to setting up a sustainable grassroots project. The money itself is often not the only thing that enables growth in itself - this case study looks at the importance of learning processes, funding design that enables experimentation and builds genuine confidence, and the role of signposting and capacity building support.

Thank you @communityinprint for this abundant learning reflection!

Yesterday was such a celebration of all things SHE! (Supporting Her in Enterprise)

Many of you will already know that I’m part of the @sheplymouth network. It’s pretty unique. It’s a funded organisation dedicated to supporting female entrepreneurs at any point in their business life who are based in Plymouth.

I would definitely not be where I am now without their support, encouragement and advice.

Mel Tucker and Jo Dench-Owen’s are the most nurturing, funny and women with oodles of business acumen behind them.

If you’ve got a business idea brewing or been in business for ten years already you will be made very welcome. You can sign up for free here:

If you’re not already familiar or following the businesses that took part in the Showcase and shown in the video here are their links;

In amongst the wonderful excitement of chatting with everyone I did have a very unique experience with a local seagull. Fact of the day: seagulls like yum yums. I’m just going to leave it at that. However, to all the people that witnessed it, I’m so very sorry for my prolific expletives that flowed out of my mouth at an alarming rate and volume followed by equally loud belly laughter 😆

Enough said!

🐋 Queer Marine Ecology Lino-Printing Workshop! 🎨

This week @communityinprint and I collaborated on our first workshop and it was a fantastic event!

Starting the workshop having an introduction to local marine ecology and what makes them Queer. From Bisexual Bottlenose Dolphins to Polyamorous Pinnipeds, we dipped into what Queer Ecology is and how the natural world is so deeply inherently queer!! 🏳️‍🌈

We then learnt how to make our own Lino prints as @devontippingdesigns taught us about various Lino techniques, materials and guidance to create our prints.

Using ethically sourced bones as inspiration for our art, everyone created some beautiful prints, all while learning about local marine ecology 🌊

Thank you all who came to the event and to those who helped make it happen! A big shout out to @sapphos_plymouth for providing the venue as well as banana bread and coffees for us all 💕

There’s a lot going on in the world right now for LGBTQIA+ rights, being able to run a workshop during Pride month as part of Breton Pride to celebrate in the local community and bring people from different backgrounds together felt very needed and heart warming 💕

We more than ever must keep being visible and remembering that Pride is still a protest and we’ve still got long a way to go in our society until we are fully accepted as a community. Having watched Tip Toe recently, a quote that has stuck with me and I want to share it with others is “You are queer in 2026, you are a political act” and we can’t forgot that 👊

Happy Pride 🏳️‍🌈
