@compacktbags is an independent brand founded by Jérémie, a passionate cyclist who handcrafts technical bags and bikepacking gear. Born out of the frustration of not finding the right luggage for his gravel bike, Jérémie started building his own prototypes in 2021–2022, refining them ride after ride until they became a small, dedicated range of functional and durable products. What started as a few exchanges on Instagram led to a meeting at the Salon de l’escalade in Paris, where the quality and finishes of Jérémie’s work spoke for themselves. From there, the idea of a joint project naturally emerged : bringing together Compackt’s technical expertise and Outside Details’ DNA into a single product. After visiting Jérémie in his workshop and sharing a bouldering session to test the bag in real conditions, the result was clear : this collaboration was the right one. Only 30 chalk bags were produced, each one numbered and entirely handmade by Jérémie. Built with Black Cordura 1000D and Golden Dazy Yellow Ecopak EPX200, the bag features a waterproof outer fabric, a black fleece lining, a brush slot, and an adjustable belt. Laser cut and engraved, it measures 15 x 12 cm and weighs approximately 75 grams : light, durable, and made with care.

Article.34 - @compacktbags is a handcrafted brand launched in 2023 by Jérémie, an avid cyclist who hand-makes technical bags and panniers for cycling. It all started in 2021–2022 with homemade prototypes, tested and refined over rides, until a dedicated range for bikepacking and everyday cycling emerged. Today, Compackt remains a small-scale project focused on functional, durable products designed for real-world use. The idea for this chalk bag came about after Compackt and Outside Details connected online, then met in person at the Salon de l’Escalade. Together, they designed a chalk bag in the brand’s signature colors (yellow and black), blending Jérémie’s craftsmanship with Outside Details’ DNA. Each piece is handmade, numbered, and produced in a limited run of 30, making it a truly unique item. This chalk bag stands out with its durable, waterproof outer fabric, black fleece lining, a brush holder, and an adjustable belt. Made from black Cordura 1000D and yellow Ecopak EPX200 Golden Dazy, it measures 15 cm in height and 12 cm in width, weighing around 75 grams. A great result, born from a collaboration that proves how online connections can lead to real-world projects. To explore Jérémie’s work and get your hands on this chalk bag, visit his website: https://compacktbags.com/ 🌱 You can find the full article in bio.
