About two weeks ago (give or take a few days), I was guiding a meditation at my very first festival (@lostvillagefestival). Not only was this my first time teaching at a festival, but it was also my first time attending one.

It was also the first time seeing Ny (@compassidentity) in six months. Yes, the same Ny who was living in Kenya—you’ve probably heard me talk about her frequently.

And, it was my first time dyeing my hair—surprising, I know!

It was a weekend of firsts, play, and overstimulation: probably everything you would expect from a festival.

I will say this: I felt extremely free. As you can see from the pictures and stories, I was becoming more and more feral, lol.

As always, my love and gratitude to @piproberts__ for bringing me along and keeping the vibes high!

In conclusion: I LOVED IT! 10/10 would definitely recommend and would definitely do it again!

💜💜💜💜💜 It truly is Shae’s universe. I had the honour of styling my sister @shaesuniverse for her debut sold out headline show at @omearalondon. To say I’m proud is an understatement, working with her since the end of 2020 and seeing the growth of her not as an artist but as a woman has been refreshing to witness. To think she was going to give up at one point when clearly singing was what she was placed on this earth to do. There was people who were waiting outside the venue hours ahead of the show just so that they could be at the front, even a heavily pregnant woman turned up to thee show. Truly blessed to be on this journey with you!.

Think it’s fair to say that Church Street Studios is starting to look pretty gorgeous, with some exceptional talent in fashion, textile, design and visual art moving in - starting with Nyheke Lambert Ltd. Loving being surrounded by the hubbub of Church Street market.

Another exciting project supported by Westminster City Council, built by our Joe Iredale, and managed by the brilliant Danny Sekibo and Vanessa M’Boge of The Wept Project, who will be using the space to teach sewing and design skills.
